DaysofPal- For the seventh day in a row, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kept closing the courtyards of the Aqsa Mosque, preventing thousands of worshippers from performing Friday prayers.
Dozens of worshippers held Friday prayers in Al-Masrara Market near Damascus Gate in Occupied Jerusalem after Israeli occupation forces closed the Aqsa Mosque compound for the seventh consecutive day.
Witnesses reported a heavy deployment of Israeli forces around Damascus Gate during the prayers.
Other worshippers performed the prayer at the Mohammed Al-Fateh Mosque in the Ras Al-Amud neighborhood of Silwan due to the ongoing Aqsa closure.
In the village of Issawiya, Friday prayers were also held at Al-Arbaeen Mosque after worshippers were prevented from accessing the Mosque compound.
For the seventh day in a row, Israeli forces have continued to seal off the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem, deploying troops at its various gates, stopping residents, checking identity documents, and preventing entry to the area except for those who live there.
