Hamas Reveals Video For Captured Israeli Soldier Avera Avraham Mengistu

Hamas Sends Message to Israeli Occupation through Captured Israeli Black Soldier in Caza

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Resistance Movement, Hamas, revealed, on Monday evening, January 16, a video filming  the captured Israeli soldier who is being held in Gaza, “Avera Avraham Mengistu.”

At the beginning of the video,. Al-Qassam stressed that this message confirms the failure of the late Israeli Chief of General Staff, Aviv Kochavi, noting that he was  lying to the Israeli people and the Israeli government with alleged achievements.

Mengistu sent a message saying, “How long will I and my comrades remain here in captivity after these long years of suffering and pain? Where is the ‘state and people of Israel?”

Commenting on the video, Al-Qassam said, “Halivi must prepare himself to bear the burden of failure and its consequences.”

Herzi Helvi will take over the 23rd Chief of Staff of the occupation army, and will officially start his duties in January 17, 2023, the day after Kochavi’s term ends.

The Israeli soldier, Avraham Magnesium, is one of the four Israeli soldiers that Hamas captured in Gaza.

In April 2016, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced, for the first time, that it had 4 captured Israeli soldiers in Gaza.

There are two soldiers that Hamas captured during the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip in 2014. They are Shaul Aron and Hadar Golden. The other two, Hisham Al-Sayed and Avraham Magnesium, entered the Strip under unclear circumstances.

In response to their arrest, the Israeli occupation committed a massacre in Rafah and bombed of Palestinian citizens’ homes. It Resulted in the murder of more than 100 Palestinians, including children and women.

On February 5, 2022, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced that deterioration of an Israeli prisoners due to injuries he sustained during the Israeli occupation aggression on the Gaza Strip in May 2021.
