A member of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, Haron Nasser Al-Din, said today, Sunday, September 4, “The occupation’s attempts to turn Al-Aqsa Mosque into a tourist site are a dangerous escalation that our Palestinian people will resist by all means to protect the mosque from the desecration of extremists – the Israeli settlers.”
Nasser al-Din considered, in a press statement, the occupation’s continuous allowing of Israeli settlers to practice their violations and desecration of the sanctity of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque under Israeli security protection, the latest of which was the appearance of settlers with obscene dress in its courtyards, a dangerous escalation, a crime against this holy place, and a direct provocation to the feelings of Muslims around the world.
Nasser al-Din warned the occupation against continuing this provocative Zionist policy, which clearly reveals its settlement schemes and intentions to turn the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque into an illegal tourist site for Israeli extremists.
He continued, “It must not be tolerated, and our nation, leaders, organizations, and peoples, must take action to prevent this crime and protect Al-Aqsa Mosque from the danger of Israeli desecration and Judaization.”
Nasser Al-Din stressed that the Palestinian people will not remain silent and will continue confronting Israeli crimes by all means, until the end of the occupation and obtaining their legitimate rights, foremost of which is the liberation of Jerusalem and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
It is worth noting that the Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to daily incursions by Israeli settlers under high protection by the occupation forces, in an attempt to Judaize the mosque and the city of Jerusalem and provoke the feelings of the Palestinians.
On the other hand, the occupation prevents and impedes the access of Palestinian worshipers to the Al-Aqsa Mosque by sitting military checkpoints on the roads leading to the mosque, and it also issues orders of deportation against Palestinian activists and influences, so they can’t visit the mosque.
