Days of Palestine – Gaza
The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas denied Tuesday, August 23, 2022, media reports alleging that the movement had “approved” Turkish normalization with the Israeli occupation.
In a brief statement, the Movement said that we reaffirm our rejection of all forms of normalization as it contradicts the Palestinian national constants and the interests of the Palestinian people and the Arab and Muslim nations.

Meanwhile, Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem denied that Palestinian factions had agreed to normalization between Turkey and Israeli occupation.
Qassem said, in a statement to “Safa” news agency, in response to a question about the validity of what was published about the Hamas movement and Fatah’s approval of normalization between Ankara and “Tel Aviv” that the movement’s position is clear and declared, and it is to reject all paths of normalization, including normalization between the occupation and Turkey.”
He added that any talk about Palestinian parties agreeing to normalization does not represent us or our people, and they are condemned anyway.
