DaysofPal- The Government Media Office (GMO) in Gaza stated that the Israeli occupation is deliberately undermining the ceasefire agreement, reporting that Israeli forces have carried out 393 documented violations since the truce came into effect, resulting in the deaths of 279 Palestinians and the injury of more than 652 others.
In a statement, the office condemned what it described as “serious and systematic breaches” by Israeli forces, saying the violations represent a blatant disregard for international humanitarian law and for the humanitarian protocol attached to the ceasefire agreement.
According to the statement, the violations have led to the killing of civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.
Additionally, 35 Palestinians were reportedly arrested during Israeli incursions into residential and agricultural areas.
The office detailed a wide range of attacks, including 113 incidents of direct gunfire targeting civilians, homes, residential neighborhoods, and displacement camps. Israeli forces also conducted 17 incursions into populated areas, it said.
The statement documented 174 ground, aerial, and artillery strikes, along with 85 demolitions of homes and civilian facilities, which it described as part of a “systematic crime aimed at expanding destruction and collectively punishing the population,” amounting to a grave violation of the Geneva Conventions.
The Media Office accused the Israeli occupation of intentionally creating a new “bloody reality on the ground” that threatens stability in Gaza and undermines the ceasefire.
It held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the humanitarian and security consequences of the violations, warning that continued aggression risks derailing international efforts to sustain calm.
The office called on U.S. President Donald Trump, mediating countries, guarantor parties, and the UN Security Council to take “serious and effective action” to halt Israeli attacks, restrain Israeli authorities, and enforce strict adherence to the ceasefire and its humanitarian provisions to safeguard civilian lives.
Concluding its statement, the office stressed that the ongoing violations pose a significant threat to stability in Gaza, insisting that only sustained international pressure can compel the Israeli occupation to respect international law and uphold its obligations under the ceasefire agreement.
