Amid the increasing escalation of Israeli aggression on the occupied Palestine, Arab countries condemned Friday, March 3, 2023 the escalation of the extremist Israeli new government’s military measures in the Palestinian occupied cities.
Qatar’s representative to the United Nations, Hind Al-Muftah, stated in a speech she delivered before the Human Rights Council on behalf of the Arab countries, that the Israeli occupation government has committed barbarian violations, war crimes, crimes against humanity and apartheid against Palestinians as it continues to enact discriminatory laws and declarations. In addition to Israeli indiscriminate expansion of illegal colonial settlements in occupied Palestine, in flagrant violation of international laws.
Al-Muftah emphasized that since the beginning 2023, the occupation new government has killed 68 Palestinians, detained no less than 1,000 Palestinians, demolished 58 homes, and its settlers have committed more than 330 terrorist attacks, as part of a systematic policy to turn Palestinians’ lives to hell.
She called on the international community to assume its responsibilities, take all necessary measures to hold Israel accountable, maintain justice in the face of Israeli violations, and put an end to the racist Israeli occupation.
