For the 27th day in a row, Palestinian detainees in the occupation prisons continue Sunday, March 12, their protest against the Israeli prison administration’s repressive measures, recommended by the extremist Itamar Ben Gvir, against them.
The Supreme National Emergency Committee of the National Captive Movement said, “The steps of today, Sunday, are to wear the clothes of the prisoners (Shabs), continue holding mobilization sessions, and carry out night confusion acts inside the prisons at 9:00 pm.”
It stressed that the unity of Palestinian detainees inside the occupation prisons in the face of the prison administration must be strengthened and that it extends outside the prison.
On September 25, the Palestinian administrative detainees embarked on an open hunger strike, in protest against the continuation and renewal of their administrative detention orders by the Israeli occupation. Then, they decided to suspend their strike after 19 days, to allow new negotiations through representatives of the Palestinian captive movement.
The Palestinian detainees will continue mobilization and the steps of open disobedience until the announcement of a hunger strike on the first of the next Ramadan, under the title (Volcano of Freedom or Martyrdom).
Since February 14, the Palestinian detainees have taken protest steps, after the Israeli occupation prison administration, specifically in (Nafha) prison, announced the start of implementing the abusive measures against them, which are recommended by the extremist Itamar Ben Gvir.
