The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated Saturday, February 18, 2023 that the Palestinian Embassy in Turkey launched an electronic platform, with the aim of listing the numbers and names of Palestinian people affected by the devastating earthquake, their current whereabouts, and their addresses.
The Ministry said that through the political advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ahmed Al-Deek, that counting the numbers and names will help determine the priorities of the needs of those affected, the forms of their assistance, and the proper way to support after they left the afflicted states.
He added that the launch of this platform will enable us to obtain comprehensive information about the missing and injured Palestinians, as part of our keenness to follow up on the conditions of our community at all levels, following the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria 13 days ago.
It is noteworthy that the number of Palestinian victims as a result of this devastating earthquake in Syria and Turkey reached 104, according to the Palestinian ambassadors to Syria, Samir Al-Rifai, and to Turkey, Faed Mustafa.
