A mob of radical Israeli settlers attacked on Saturday a Palestinian man close to Husan, which is in the west of Bethlehem in the West Bank. This is according to local sources.

Mayor Mohammad Sabatin said that his 50-year-old brother was violently attacked from a group of Israeli settlers while he was on his own property in the vicinity of the illegal settlement of Bitar Elit.

Less than 24 hours before the attack, Nasser Mahmoud Sabatin was brutally beaten by a gang of Israeli settlers on his own land close to where the assault occurred. He suffered from cuts and bruises.

Violence perpetrated by Israeli settlers against Palestinians and their possessions is a common occurrence in the West Bank, and the Israeli occupation authorities rarely take action against it.

More than 650,000 Israeli settlers have illegally established settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which is a violation of the international law.
