31 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Kuwait declared their rejection of normalisation with the Israeli occupation, considering it a 'stab in back of Palestinians and Arabs.'
A joint statement issued by the Kuwaiti NGOs stressed that ‘any kind of normalization with the Israeli occupation is a dagger stuck in the Palestinian cause and in the back of Arab society.’
“The Palestinian Cause is the Arab’s leading cause,” added the statement, “undeterred by International law, the usurper Zionist entity is still continuing its violations against the Palestinian people.”
The statement also emphasized the NGOs “full support for the Palestinians’ right to resist the occupation with all kinds of resistance.”
The deal to normalize UAE-Israel relations was announced last Thursday after a phone call between US president Donald Trump, Israeli prime minister Netanyahu and crown prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
