Israel Kills Palestinian Groom Hours Before His Wedding Ceremony In Khan Younis

DaysofPal- A Palestinian man was killed and several others were injured early Friday after an Israeli strike targeted a residential home in the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis. The assault occurred amidst ongoing military operations and Israeli violations reported across various areas of the enclave.

The attack struck the home of the Farwana family on Al-Zeini Street in central Khan Younis, killing 25-year-old Mohannad Othman Farwana. According to local sources, Farwana was preparing to celebrate his wedding later that day.

Several other residents were wounded in the strike, sustaining injuries of varying severity.

Elsewhere in the Gaza Strip, Israeli artillery shelled the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, while military vehicles opened fire in the city’s northwestern areas.

Israeli quadcopter drones also fired toward areas east of Gaza City. Similar gunfire was reported from Israeli military vehicles north of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza and east of Khan Younis.

Israeli attacks extended to eastern Khan Younis and the Al-Mawasi area near Rafah, where artillery shelling, illumination flares, and smoke bombs were reported. Artillery fire also targeted the vicinity of Abbas Kilani Roundabout on Al-Shaima Street in northern Beit Lahia.

Along with the aerial and artillery bombardments, Israeli occupation forces carried out large-scale demolition operations, demolishing buildings in the north-eastern parts of Khan Younis. In parallel to these activities, there was continued gunfire and shelling in several combat zones in the Gaza Strip, northeast of Khan Younis, while shelling and gunfire continued along several fronts across the Gaza Strip.
