DaysofPal- Israeli occupation forces have continued to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip for the 198th consecutive day, with escalating field activity that includes the demolition and detonation of homes and residential buildings across various parts of the territory.
Medical and local sources reported that a young girl, Duaa Mohammed Suleiman Rahim, died on Saturday morning from wounds she sustained several days earlier after being shot by Israeli forces west of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
On Friday, at least 13 people were killed, including a woman and three children, in addition to several others who were injured, some critically, following a series of reported violations of the truce.
Field reports state that Israeli occupation forces’ vehicles fired on the eastern parts of the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza early on Saturday morning. Artillery shelling and gunfire also targeted eastern parts of Khan Younis in the south, where bombardment resumed in multiple locations.
Israeli naval forces shelled the coast of Gaza City, while Israeli troops carried out controlled explosions of civilian structures east of the city. At the same time, intensive drone activity was reported in the skies over Khan Younis, accompanied by gunfire from military vehicles stationed around the area.
These developments come despite a ceasefire agreement that took effect on October 10, 2025, brokered through Arab and U.S. mediation, following two years of war in the Gaza Strip.
Since the start of the ceasefire, 791 people have been killed and 2,235 have been injured, according to data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health. The overall toll since October 7, 2023, has reached approximately 72,568 killed and 172,338 injured.
