DaysofPal- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out four demolition operations targeting residential buildings in the southeastern part of Khan Yonis in the southern Gaza Strip, within areas where troops remain deployed, according to local sources.
The demolitions coincided with scattered attacks that left one Palestinian dead and at least ten others wounded, medical sources in Gaza said, amid continued violations of the ceasefire in place since October 2025.
The victim was shot by Israeli forces in the Al-Zarqa area northeast of Gaza City.
He was transported to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in central Gaza, where he was pronounced dead.
Separately, ten Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire outside troop deployment zones near Kuwait Roundabout in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City, according to emergency services officials.
Earlier Friday at dawn, three Palestinians, including two children, were wounded by Israeli fire in Khan Younis.
Military vehicles also reportedly advanced into southeastern areas of Gaza City, opening fire toward Salah al-Din Street, a key route linking Gaza City with central parts of the enclave.
The developments come as the Israeli genocidal war in Gaza is ongoing since October 8, 2023, has resulted in more than 72,000 Palestinians killed and approximately 172,000 wounded, alongside widespread destruction of infrastructure.
Reconstruction costs are estimated to run into tens of billions of dollars.
