DaysofPal– The Union of Tribes of the Gaza Strip has issued a heartfelt statement welcoming the arrival of the Fleet of Steadfastness, a solidarity convoy seeking to break the ongoing blockade on Gaza and deliver a message of unity and international support.

Describing the fleet as a “blessed convoy advancing with the determination of the free,” the Union praised the initiative as a powerful sign that Gaza is “not alone” in its struggle. The convoy, made up of international activists and humanitarians, is expected to deliver both material aid and moral support to Palestinians enduring the consequences of siege and war.

In its statement, the Union emphasised that the homes and tents of Gaza’s people are open to the men and women of the fleet. “Our people will greet them with open hearts and hands,” the Union declared, noting the long-standing solidarity Gaza’s civilians have shown to supporters from around the world.

A Moment of Renewed Hope

The arrival of the convoy comes as a beacon of hope for many in Gaza. The Union stated that “every child and woman in Gaza has been waiting for this moment with deep anticipation,” underscoring the psychological and symbolic importance of such gestures amid ongoing hardship.

The Union affirmed that this initiative proves the voices of Gaza’s people have “reached the conscience of the free,” and called upon the broader community to rally behind the convoy. It encouraged collective unity and public gratitude toward those who have answered the “call of duty and humanity.”

Continued Calls for Solidarity

The press release concluded with an appeal to support and amplify the message of the Fleet of Steadfastness, as it represents not only a humanitarian act but also a political statement against the prolonged isolation of Gaza.

The Union of Tribes of the Gaza Strip remains a vital social and cultural pillar in Gaza, frequently articulating collective community perspectives on matters of national importance.
