DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation forces have committed three separate massacres in the Gaza Strip within the past 24 hours, leaving 30 Palestinians dead and 99 others wounded.
These attacks add to the already devastating toll from ongoing aggression in the region. Since October 7 of last year, the total death toll in Gaza has reached 45,514, with 108,189 individuals wounded, according to health ministry reports.
30 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli airstrikes since Sunday morning, according to medical sources, with 15 of those deaths taking place in the northern Gaza Strip.
The violence has targeted multiple areas, resulting in significant loss of life and widespread injuries. In the central Gaza Strip, nine Palestinians were killed and 20 others wounded after Israeli artillery targeted residential homes in the Nuseirat Camp. Two more Palestinians were killed and others injured in shelling that struck a car west of the camp.
In Beit Hanoun, located in the northern Gaza Strip, seven people were killed and several others injured when occupation aircraft bombed a residential house. Local sources also reported artillery shelling of homes in Jabalia al-Nazla, another densely populated area in the north. In the southern Gaza Strip, one person was killed in Israeli bombardment in the Qizan Abu Rashwan area south of Khan Yunis.
Seven Palestinians lost their lives and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment targeting Al-Wafa Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation in Gaza City, which also caused damage to tents sheltering displaced people near the hospital.
The bombing of Al-Wafa Hospital came just hours after Israeli artillery shelled the top floor of Al-Ahli Al-Ma’madani Hospital, causing severe structural damage and widespread panic among patients and medical staff. These attacks on medical facilities underscore the dire humanitarian situation and the increasing vulnerability of civilians seeking refuge.
Adding to the humanitarian crisis, the Israeli army issued an evacuation order for the remaining populated areas in Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip, in preparation for further military operations.
This continues a pattern of displacement that has affected a significant portion of Gaza’s population, with an estimated 1.9 million people, 90% of the total population, having been internally displaced multiple times over the past year.
Since October 5, the large-scale military campaign in northern Gaza has resulted in the deaths of approximately 4,000 Palestinians. The intensifying aggression continues to inflict heavy civilian casualties and exacerbate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, drawing condemnation from local and international observers. The United Nations has warned that without adequate humanitarian assistance, Gaza has become “unfit for human survival.”
