Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Sunday, May 14, 2023, many areas of the occupied Jerusalem, detaining 5 Palestinian citizens.
According to Wadi Hilweh Information Center, the Israeli troops detained 3 Palestinians, namely Ahmed Muhaisen, Ahmed Mahmoud, and Reyad Abu Al-Hems, after storming and searching their homes in the Al-Issawiya town.
It added that the Israeli occupation extended the detention of the Jerusalemites Hisham Al-Bashiti, who were detained last night, and Sinan Awwad, from Silwan, to tomorrow, Monday.
On a daily basis, Israeli troops storm the Palestinian cities and towns of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, detaining, killing, and injuring citizens there.
According to Palestinian statistics, the number of Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks in the West Bank and Jerusalem since the beginning of 2023 has risen to 118.
As for detention, Israeli occupation forces detained 900 Palestinian citizens, including 120 kids and 17 females, throughout occupied Palestine last April only.
