Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Sunday, May 14, 2023, the Old City of the Occupied Nablus and detained two Palestinian citizens.
Local Palestinian sources reported that the Israeli incursion into the city led to the outbreak of violent confrontations between the Israeli troops and Palestinian citizens.
During their incursion, the Israeli forces fired live bullets and tear gas bombs at the Palestinians, injuring many of them.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that many Palestinian injuries reached the National Hospital in Nablus as a result of the Israeli attack on the city.
During their withdrawal from the city, the Israeli occupation forces detained two Palestinian citizens.
On a daily basis, Israeli troops storm the Palestinian cities and towns of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, detaining citizens and killing and injuring others.
According to Palestinian statistics, the number of Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks in the West Bank and Jerusalem since the beginning of 2023 has risen to 118.
As for detention, Israeli occupation forces detained 900 Palestinian citizens, including 120 kids and 17 females, throughout occupied Palestine last April only.
