Greek Orthodox Bishop Atallah Hanna has said that both Christian and Muslim Palestinians would together undermine US President Donald Trump’s decision about Jerusalem.
He said this decision does not target only the holy city of Jerusalem, but also the whole Palestinian cause, accusing Trump of working to “liquify” the Palestinian issue.
In a press conference held by municipality heads and Christian and Muslim religious clerks, Hanna said: “Christians and Muslims together will stand in the face of Trump’s project to undermine it.”
Hanna also considered any aggression on the Islamic sites and holy places the same as an aggression on the Christian sites and holy places.
The Archbishops highlighted the continuous Israeli violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque. “All of you see the violations against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque… There is no power in the world that is able to uproot us from this land.”
