Our reporter in the West Bank said that the Israeli occupation forces cracked down on the Palestinian protests, using live bullets, metal-coated-with-rubber bullets and gas canisters.
Tens of the demonstrators were wounded, including the Palestinian Legislative Council member from Fatah Waleed Assaf.
According to the reporter, the Israeli occupation forces targeted the Palestinian paramedics, who rushed to the scenes of clashes to offer first aid to the wounded and evacuated them.
It was clear that the Israeli occupation forces attempted to prevent the journalists from covering their assaults on the Palestinian demonstrators, the reporter said.
Palestinian medical sources said that three of the wounded suffered moderate injuries, while all the others suffered light wounds. Some of them were treated in the field.
