Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation troops arrested on Thursday at dawn nine Palestinian citizens from different places in occupied West Bank.
Reporter of Days of Palestine said that a large number of Israeli soldiers using armoured military vehicles invaded several towns in the southern West Bank city of Al-Khalil, and kidnapped six Palestinians.
In the same campaign, the occupation troops invaded the town of Doura and kidnapped Ramzi al-Khatib, 27, and Ahmad abu-Daoud, 20, after searching and ransacking their homes.
One Palestinian, identified as Khalil Mohamed az-Zama’ra, was also kidnapped from his home in the town of Halhoul, north of Al-Khalil.
Spokesperson of the Popular Committee against the Israeli Apartheid Wall and Settlements in Beit Ummar, north of Al-Khalil, said the Israeli troops stormed Khallet al-‘Ein area, and town of Safa, searched and ransacked several homes and kidnapped three Palestinians.
A prisoners’ NGO identified the kidnapped as Mohamed Ekhlayyel, 21, Anas Ekhlayyel, 19, and former political prisoner Ibrahim Ekhlayyel, 23.
The latest arrests in Beit Ummar bring the number of kidnapped Palestinians in the town alone, since the beginning of the year, to 64 residents, including 28 children.
In addition, the Israeli occupation troops invaded the city of Silwad, in the central West Bank district of Ramallah, and kidnapped a journalist identified as Islam al-Foqaha after breaking into his home, and violently searching it.
Two more Palestinians, identified as Mustafa Shatta, 35, and Bassam abu-Zeina, 23, have also been kidnapped from their homes in the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and the Jenin refugee camp.
