Eight Palestinian prisoners from Jenin governorate entered Sunday, June 18, 2023, their 10th year in a row inside the Israeli occupation prisons.
The director of the Prisoners’ Club in Jenin, Muntaser Sammour, stated that the eight Palestinian prisoners are all freed prisoners, and they are:
The prisoner, Muammar Murshid Gawadrah, from the town of Bir al-Basha in the south, is sentenced to life imprisonment, and previously spent nearly 9 years in Israeli prisons.
The prisoner, Wael Kamel Abu Jalbush, from the town of Marka in the south, is also sentenced to life imprisonment, and he spent nearly 9 years in prison, and he had a child through smuggled sperm.
The prisoner, Muhammad Ahmed Saleh, from the town of Qabatiya, is sentenced to life imprisonment. He previously spent nearly 18 years in prison.
Prisoner Samer Essam Al-Mahroum, from the city of Jenin, is sentenced to 15 years and two months, as he previously spent nearly 26 years in prison, and had two children through smuggled sperm.
The prisoner Wahib Abdullah Abu Al-Rub, from the town of Qabatiya in the south, has been sentenced to 23 years, and he previously spent nearly 17 years in prison.
The prisoner, Imad Yasser Musa, from the town of Marka, and he is sentenced to 11 years and 3 months, and he previously spent nearly 13 years, as he had a baby girl through smuggled sperm too.
The prisoner, Ashraf Khalil Abu Al-Rub, is from the town of Sir in the south, and he is sentenced to 25 years and 5 months, and he previously spent nearly 9 years in prison.
The prisoner Abd al-Rahman Salah, from Jenin, has been sentenced to 25 years, and he previously spent nearly 10 years in Israeli jails.
According to the last Palestinian statistics, there are about 5000 Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons, including 160 minors, 29 women, 750 patients, and 1200 administrative detainees.
