Israeli media reported that two Israeli settlers were killed and at least seven others injured in a ramming attack in occupied Jerusalem, on Friday, February 10, 2023.
The sources said that a 30-year-old Palestinain youth from Al-Issawyia town in occupied Jerusalem carried out a ramming attack against settlers in a bus station in Jerusalem.
The ramming attack caused the death of one Israeli settlers and the injury of seven others, mostly in serious conditions, according to the Israeli media.
The attack came following a series of ongoing Israeli crimes committed against the Palestinian people, the last of which was in Aqabat Jaber.
Several days ago, Israeli occupation forces shot and killed nine Palestinians after invading Aqabat Jaber in occupied Jericho. The Israeli forces also withheld the victims’ bodies.
Earlier on Friday, the Palestinian prisoner Ahmed Abu Ali, 48, died in Israeli prisons due to deliberate medical negligence practiced by Israeli occupation authorities.
Abu Ali, a father of nine children, is the 235th prisoner to be killed in Israeli prisons. He had served 11 years in detention.
Acts of Palestinian resistance have recently escalated in the West Bank and Jerusalem. This came with the rise of Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people in general and children in particular.
So far in 2023, Israeli occupation forces have killed 43 Palestinians, including 9 children. An elderly woman was also among the victims.
