According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the Israeli occupation has been accused of preventing medical specialists from entering Gaza to assist clinics in the besieged area. This information, as reported by German news agency DPA, reveals that eight organizations and more than 50 specialist personnel have been affected by the Israeli blockade since August.
These medical experts, who aimed to provide various medical services to patients and offer psychological support to healthcare workers, were denied access to crucial medical facilities, including the European Gaza Hospital and the Nasser Hospital. Recently, Israeli occupation barred two medical organizations, Glia and the US-based nonprofit Palestinian American Medical Association, from entering Gaza.
The WHO highlights that this is the first time the Israeli occupation has denied entire aid organizations access to Gaza, escalating concerns about the humanitarian impact of such actions.
