Violent confrontations broke out today Saturday, March 25, between Palestinian citizens of Nablus and Israeli occupation forces (IOF) who stormed the city and imposed a blockade on Hawara town.
Local Palestinian sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces stormed towns of occupied Nablus, following an operation carried out in Hawara, and attacked Palestinians, which led to the outbreak of confrontation with the Palestinian residents of towns.
Large numbers of Israeli forces stormed the Beita and Huwara towns, closed the entrances to the town, and besieged its Palestinian people.
It’s reported that 2 Israeli soldiers were injured in a shooting attack on an Israeli military site in Hawara town.
Israeli occupation forces and settlers escalate their attacks and violation against Palestinians of Hawra and other Palestinian towns and cities which led increase tension in the area.
Last month, hundreds of armed Israeli settlers attacked Huwara and nearby villages and torched dozens of houses and cars. Israeli settlers killed one Palestinian and injured more than 100 others during the attack amid a spike in violence in the occupied Palestinian lands.
