DaysofPal- The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Friday that Israeli forces remain deployed across more than half of the Gaza Strip, sharply limiting access to humanitarian assistance for the civilian population.
In a press statement, UNRWA confirmed that Israeli occupation forces have moved beyond what is known as the “yellow line,” a reference point previously cited in discussions on military positioning.
The agency warned that the continued presence of Israeli occupation forces has significantly constrained humanitarian operations across the territory.
UNRWA stressed that access to humanitarian aid in Gaza, including assistance provided by the agency itself, is either severely restricted or entirely blocked in many areas.
The limitations, it said, are hampering efforts to deliver food, medical supplies, and other essential services to hundreds of thousands of Palestinians facing dire living conditions.
The agency has repeatedly cautioned that ongoing military activity and movement restrictions are worsening Gaza’s humanitarian crisis, as displaced families struggle to secure basic necessities amid widespread destruction of infrastructure.
UNRWA and other international organizations have called for safe, sustained, and unimpeded access for humanitarian actors, warning that further restrictions could lead to catastrophic consequences for the civilian population in the besieged enclave.
