DaysofPal— The Hamas Movement said on Thursday that Israeli occupation is violating a ceasefire agreement. In contrast, Israeli forces continue to carry out deadly strikes across the Gaza Strip, killing civilians and destroying property.
The Movement said Israeli occupation had effectively reneged on the truce and was attempting to impose a new reality “under fire and siege.”
Hamas reported that at least five Palestinians were killed and dozens wounded in attacks earlier in the day, describing the incidents as part of a broader pattern of ongoing Israeli genocide.
The Movement called on mediators and guarantor states involved in the ceasefire to intervene immediately, stressing their legal and political responsibility to ensure compliance with the agreement.
Hamas also urged increased pressure on the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to adhere to its commitments.
In addition, Hamas appealed for greater international mobilization, encouraging protests and solidarity actions worldwide.
It called for intensified pressure on the Israeli occupation and its allies, including the implementation of comprehensive boycotts.
According to figures from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, at least 1,127 Palestinians have been killed and 3,616 injured since the ceasefire took effect on October 10.
The ministry added that approximately 800 additional bodies have been recovered from beneath rubble during the same period.
The overall death toll since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on October 7, 2023, has risen to around 73,250, with more than 173,700 people reported injured, highlighting the scale of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
