The United Nations’ humanitarian office has voiced strong criticism against the Israeli aggressive tactics in the occupied West Bank, reporting a series of fatal incidents over the past week. According to Jens Laerke, a spokesperson from the UN, Israeli forces have employed deadly, war-like methods, prompting serious concerns about the excessive use of force and increasing humanitarian needs in the region.
Between October 8 and 14, the Israeli occupation killed 9 Palestinians, including one child. The Israeli occupation has claimed that many of those killed were allegedly involved in attacks against Israelis.
The situation in the West Bank has been dire since October 7, 2023, with over 750 Palestinians were killed by the Israeli occupation, more than 6,250 injuries, and at least 11,200 Palestinians currently imprisoned. The UN’s denunciation underscores the urgent need for addressing the escalating violence and its impact on the local population.
