United Nations Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in the occupied Palestinian lands Lynne Elizabeth Hastings stated that hundreds of Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem are at risk of forcible displacement by Israeli forces.
In a tweet on her Twitter, the UN coordinator said, “Hundreds of Palestinians are at risk of forced eviction in East Jerusalem.”

She added “This devastating practice – incompatible with international law – must end”
Israeli occupation authorities set
Israeli occupation authorities set the 11th of June as the deadline for the expulsion of the Sub-Laban family from their home in favor of the Israeli settlers.
Nearly 150 Palestinian families in occupied Jerusalem are at risk of displacement and forced expulsion by the Israeli occupation forces, according to the European Union office.
Israeli occupation escalated the demolition orders against the Palestinian homes and properties in the towns and villages in occupied Jerusalem, aiming to force the Palestinian residents to leave their own lands under the pretext of building without a permit.
In 2022, Israeli occupation forces forcibly demolished more than 209 inhabited Palestinian facilities in various areas of occupied Jerusalem. Israeli occupation also confiscated a number of Palestinian-owned lands and properties in favor of Israeli settlers’ expansion most notably the land of Hamra in the Silwan neighborhood.
