According to medical emergency services, a shooting incident took place on Saturday night in the Palestinian town of Jaljulya in the occupied Palestinian lands in 1948, resulting in the death of a 49-year-old Palestinian. This unfortunate event adds to the tally of Palestinian murder victims in Israel this year, making it the 101st case, and becomes the 13th murder reported this week.
Emergency services of Magen David Adom were alerted to a distress call in Jaljulya on Saturday evening, approximately at 10:30 PM. Upon arrival at the location, they discovered three individuals who had sustained injuries. Among them was Ashraf Kharov, a 49-year-old person in critical condition.
Additionally, a 30-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman had suffered moderate and minor injuries, respectively.
All three were subsequently transported to Meir Hospital in Kfar Sava for medical care. Unfortunately, Ashraf Kharov was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Based on witness accounts, a pair of masked individuals carrying weapons approached a residence in Jaljulya. They proceeded to shoot Kharov at close proximity.
In the early evening of Saturday, a 28-year-old man from Kalansua, a Palestinian town, was fatally shot, and this incident was preceded by the shooting death of an 18-year-old woman from a Druze village in northern Israel over the weekend.
