The number of Israeli occupation crimes against the Palestinians in the occuiped city of Jerusalem has increased sharply during the month of January 2023.
During the reporting period, at least 4516 colonial Israeli settelers invaded the courtyards of Al- Aqsa mosque and performed provocative Talmudic rituals in some of its yards. All colonial settlers and the settlements in which they live are illegal under international law.
The report recorded the Israeli occupation detention of 255 Palestinians. Moreover, at least 74 arrest decisions were issued by the Israeli occupation including 11 administrative detentions, 37 house arrests, and 26 prison sentences, stated AlQastal News.
At the same time, the Israeli occupation issued 28 banishment orders against Jerusalemite activists as well as employees of the Jerusalem Waqf (Endowment) Department.
During the reporting period, Israeli occupation forces deliberately killed 5 Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem, according to the Date collected by Days Of Palestine.
On the 12th of January, Israeli occupation invaded the occupied Jerusalem refugee camp of Qalandia and shot the 41-year-old Palestinian man Samir Awni Harbi Aslan fatally in the chest during an Israeli military invasion to kidnap his brother.
On the 25th of January, the Israeli occupation forces claimed the life of the 16-year-old Palestinian youth Mohamed Ali with a bullet in the chest during a military invasion into the occupied Jerusalem camp of Shuafat.
On January 27th, colonial Israeli settlers shot dead the 21-year-old Palestinain youth Khairy Alqam who was named after his grandfather killed by an Israeli settler in 1998. Alqam carried out a shooting attack in occupied Jerusalem following the Israeli brutal crime in Jenin in which 9 Palestinians were killed including an eldealy woman.
On the same date, the 16-year-old Palestinain boy Wadih Aziz Abu Ramoz succumbed to the critical wounds sustained during an Israeli military raid into the town of Silwan.
The 22-year-old Palestinian man Youssef Moheisen was killed by Israeli occupation bullets during a march held in Al-Ram town in protest against Israeli crime in Jenin.
The Israeli occupation forces leveled 42 Palestinian-owned structures in occuiped Jerusalem leaving its People homeless and issued demolition orders against dozens of others, according to data collected by Marsad Network.
