A tile fell from the outer wall of the Dome of the Rock Monday evening.
Sources said that the tile fell from the western facade above the main entrance to the Dome of Rock‘s Mosque.
The collapse of the stones and tiles from Al–Aqsa Mosque‘s arches and columns due to the occupation‘s ban on restoration works inside the Mosque.
The Israeli occupation have previously warned officials at Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque against undertaking any restoration works inside the mosque compound.
Since the election of the new far–right Netanyahu government, the Israeli occupation has increased its security measures in the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
