DayofPal—Three Palestinian journalists were killed on Wednesday after an Israeli airstrike targeted their vehicle in central Gaza.
The journalists were working with the Egyptian committee and were filming displacement camps near the American Hospital at Natzarim area when their car was struck.
The victims were identified as Mohammad Salah Qishta, Anas Ghanim, and Abdul Raouf Samir Shaath; the latter got married only thirteen days earlier.
The killing of the three journalists comes amid a broader Israeli ceasefire violations across the Gaza Strip.
On the same day, Israeli attacks reportedly killed at least eight other civilians, including three siblings east of Al-Bureij refugee camp, a father and his child east of Deir Al-Balah, and a woman and child in Khan Younis.
Since the start of the war on Gaza, at least 260 journalists have been killed in Israeli attacks, raising grave concerns about the systematic targeting of media workers and the safety of journalists operating in the besieged enclave.
In a statement today, Hamas said Israel violated the Gaza ceasefire 1,298 times over 100 days, killing 483 Palestinians, restricting aid, and blocking reconstruction, while urging mediators to enforce nine demands.
