Thousands of Israeli citizens demonstrated Saturday, January 29, 2023 in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa against the extremist new Israeli government and the new plan of the Minister of Justice, Yariv Levin, which intends to weaken the Israeli judiciary.
About 40,000 Israeli demonstrators participated in Tel Aviv, marking another chapter in the weekly demonstrations, specifically in Habima Square and Kaplan Street, in a protest against Netanyahu’s government and its policy.
About 13 thousand settlers demonstrated in Haifa, and hundreds others participated in a demonstration in front of the house of the Israeli President Isaac Herzog in occupied Jerusalem. Thousands also demonstrated in front of the municipal building in “Herzliya”, in addition to hundreds in front of the house of the Minister of Justice in “Modi’in”.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces closed a number of streets in “Israel” in conjunction with the rife demonstrations against the Netanyahu government.
It is noteworthy that more than 100,000 people demonstrated in Tel Aviv against the Netanyahu government last week, in addition to others in Haifa, Beersheba and Jerusalem.
