The Israeli Occupation Practices Oppressive Arrests and confrontations Against Palestinians

The Israeli occupation imposed a number of oppressive behaviors on Palestinians on Wednesday, August 10th including extending an arrest of a Palestinian media majored girl, arresting the Ex -prisoner, Hakim Ahmed and the arrest of Saleh Muhammad Zakaria, and performing military confrontations

Extended arrest.

The Israeli occupation court in Salem camp extended the detention of a university student from Jenin for the second time in a row today, Wednesday, August 10th

The Palestinian Prisoners Club said that the Israeli occupation court in “Salem” postponed the trial of prisoner Dina Jaradat, from Jenin, until the 18th of this month.

The club stated that Jaradat was arrested on the seventh of August and that she is a journalism and media major student at Al-Quds Open University.

Re-Arrest of  a previously released individual

On a similar note, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man from the city of Tubas after summoning him for an interview.

The director of the Prisoners Club in Tubas, Kamal Bani Odeh, said that the occupation arrested the Ex -prisoner, Hakim Ahmed Fuqaha (26 years), after summoning him for an interview in the morning.

Confrontations

several citizens suffocated with teargas, during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Taqu`, southeast of Bethlehem.

The director of Tekoa municipality, Taysir Abu Mufarreh, told sources that the confrontations focused on the Khirbet Tekoa area at the western entrance, where the occupation soldiers fired bullets and tear gas canisters, causing dozens of suffocation.

Arrest

The Military Occupation Court in Salem issued a 14-month prison sentence to the prisoner, Saleh Muhammad Zakarna, from the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, and imposed a fine on him.

Relatives of the prisoner, Zakarna, told “Wafa” that the occupation court had imposed a fine of 4000 shekels on their son.
