The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club warned Sunday, March 5, 2023 of an increasing escalation in the Israeli occupation prisons in the coming days if there’s no end to the unjust punitive measures taken against Palestinian detainees.
The spokesman for the Prisoners affairs, Hazem Hassanein, stated that what is happening inside the Israeli occupation prisons is a real battle in the face of the increasing Israeli aggression, which first was initiated by the Israeli extremist Ben Gvir.
He indicated that this aggression is a flagrant violation of Palestinian Detainees rights, lives, dignity and security.
Hassanein stressed that Palestinian detainees’ civil disobedience is approaching its 20th day, and the prisoners are still determined to preserve their dignity even if it costs their lives.
Hassanien called on the leaders of the Palestinian factions, the Palestinian authority and all those concerned about Palestinian detainees to take an action supporting them in their continous battle, stressing that this battle will not end without obtaining freedom.
