DaysofPal- Hamas official Abdul-Rahman Shadeed stated that Gaza is currently facing “total famine” and widespread malnutrition, noting that the Israeli occupation is intentionally using hunger as a method of warfare to subjugate the Palestinian people.
In a message posted on Hamas Telegram channel, Shadeed said, “Children are dying not just from airstrikes, but also due to the lack of essentials like milk.”
He condemned both the United Nations and the broader international community for remaining inactive, despite frequently denouncing Israel’s use of starvation against civilians in Gaza.
Shadeed further pointed out that Israeli forces have continued their operations in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, involving home demolitions and the mass displacement of Palestinians.
“Despite these ongoing crimes by the occupation, the resistance remains steadfast and continues to hinder Israel’s goals,” Shadeed stated.
He reaffirmed Hamas’s readiness to enter talks aimed at reaching a full ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that would put an end to the conflict and lead to the withdrawal of Israeli forces.
