Settlers Invade Al-Aqsa Mosque under Israeli Occupation Protection

Days of Palestine -

Dozens of extremist settlers invaded on Sunday morning 5 June 2022 Al-Aqsa Mosque, celebrating the so-called “Feast of the Revelation of the Torah”, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.

Local sources in Jerusalem stated that dozens of settlers invaded Al-Aqsa amid tight protection from the occupation police and that a state of tension prevailed.

They pointed out that the occupation police surrounded the worshipers inside the Al-Qibli Mosque.

The occupation police prevented worshipers to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque this morning, to provide protection for settlers.

These invasions coincide with the 55th anniversary of the Naksah/Setback in which Israel occupied Al-Aqsa Mosque and the eastern part of the city of Jerusalem, which is subjected to continuous Israeli violations and attacks, and the operations of Judaization and confiscation of its lands.

Last Sunday, Al-Aqsa Mosque witnessed a number of violations and extensive incursions by settlers and the occupation police, including performing Talmudic rituals, raising the Israeli flag in its courtyards, and attacking worshipers.
