A newly unfolded letter sent by Donald Trump to the former Israeli occupation government revealed on Monday, August 15, that the previous American president Donald Trump gave a green light for Israel to annex large parts of the occupied West Bank.
The letter, dating back to January 26, 2020, gave Netanyahu the green light to “annex as long as he accepted a future Palestinian state.”
In addition, the three-page letter, revealed by Jerusalem Post, stated that “The United States will recognize Israeli sovereignty in those areas of the West Bank that my vision contemplates as being part of Israel.”
The letter was sent secretly two days before the so-called “Deal of Century ” was declared. Under the US deal, Jerusalem was recognized as “Israel’s capital”.
