Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) reported Tuesday, April 11, 2023, that Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained 100 Palestinian citizens, including 10 kids, from occupied Jericho in the first quarter of 2023.
PPS indicated that the detentions were mostly in the Aqabt Jabr refugee camp that witnessed escalating Israeli attacks.
It added that 32 of the Palestinian detainees from the city are still in the Israeli occupation prisons.
The club pointed out that the Israeli occupation issued administrative detention orders against 15 of them.
Detaining the Palestinians, Israeli occupation forces broke into their homes, abused and assaulted them, and terrorized and threatened their families, according to the club.
Daily, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) storm the towns and neighborhoods of occupied Jerusalem and the West Bank, break into Palestinian homes, and attack and detain citizens there.
According to Palestinian statistics, Israeli occupation currently detains 4765 Palestinians, including 29 females, 150 minors, 1016 administrative detainees, and 600 patients.
