Israel forces a citizen of the Negev to demolish his home

The Israeli occupation authorities forced a citizen from the village of Khirbet al-Watan, whose recognition was denied in the occupied Palestinian Negev in 1948, to demolish his home.

According to the "Arab48" website; The so-called "Yoav" unit of the so-called "Negev Development Authority", which is responsible for carrying out home demolitions in Palestinian towns in the Negev, has recently put pressure on the homeowner, threatening to fine him with exorbitant sums for their demolition, if he does not demolish it himself.

Citizen Saleh Abu Assa demolished the house that he, his wife, and six children were sheltering, and remained in the open despite the cold weather.

It is reported that the occupation authorities demolished the village of Al-Araqib 184 times and two houses in the villages of Al-Zarnouq and Tal Arad in the Negev, last Thursday.
