Israeli forces assault Palestinian worshipers and arrests 5 citizens in Jerusalem

The Israeli occupation forces attacked the worshipers after the end of the Friday prayers in Al-Ghazali Square at the Lions Gate, one of the gates of Al-Aqsa, and arrested 5 young men.

Eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli occupation forces attacked the worshipers, forcing them to leave Al-Aqsa through the Lions Gate, amidst the throwing of stun grenades to disperse the worshipers, and assaulted the young Omar Zughayer and arrested him.

They added that the Israeli police prevented about 321 residents of the West Bank from praying at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and arrested 4 of them.

About 20,000 performed Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa, despite all the Israeli restrictions.
