Israeli occupation forces arrested on Tuesday a photojournalist from occupied Jerusalem.

Local sources said that the occupation forces arrested the photojournalist, Ahmed Jalajil, a resident of the Al-Thawri area, south of Jerusalem, and took him to an investigation center in the Old City.

According to the statistics of the Committee to Support Journalists, eight Palestinian journalists are serving sentences in Israeli prisons.

Seven others are held in administrative detention without charge while ten are in custody awaiting trial, according to the Committee.
