Two Palestinian prisoners from Jenin enter new years in Israeli jails

The two prisoners, Muhammad Sharqiya and Omar Abu al-Rub, from Jenin, entered new years in the Israeli occupation prisons on Saturday.

The director of the prisoner club in Jenin, Montaser Sammour, said that the prisoner, Muhammad Sharqiya from the town of Yamoun in the West has entered his 21st year in captivity, and he is sentenced for 23 years, while the prisoner Abu al-Rub from the town of Jalboun in the east entered his 15th year in the occupation prisons, and he is sentenced to a lifetime in jail.

He said that the occupation authorities prevented them from visiting their families for long periods of time, and isolated them unilaterally as part of the policy of arbitrary punishment practiced against the prisoners.
