Hamas Parliamentary Bloc mourns the South African Minister Jackson Mthembu

The Change and Reform Parliamentary Bloc of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) Friday mourned the Republic of South Africa Minister Jackson Mthembu who was prominent in opposing the Israeli occupation of Palestine.

Dr. Mahmoud Al Zahhar, Chairman of Change and Reform Parliamentary Bloc of PLC, said in a statement that the PLC and the Palestinian people are deeply saddened by the death of Minister Jackson Mthembu.

Al Zahhar added that Mthembu had prominent supporting stances towards the just Palestinian cause during his positions in the parliament and government of South Africa.

He also stressed that the Palestinian people and South Africans mourn the loss of Minister Mthembu and wish his family and friends strength and patience to endure this loss.
