Hundreds of Palestinians took part on Saturday evening, September 10, in a march in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah in solidarity with the prisoner cancer-stricken Naser Abu Humaid who faces serious health condition conditions in Israeli prisons.
Protesters raised the Palestinian flags along with photos of Naser Abu Humaid, demanding the Israeli occupation to immediately release him in light of the current rapid deterioration of his health.
Qadoura Fares, head of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, stated that the march was held to demand the immediate release of Abu Humaid so he can spend his last days in the bosom of his family.
He added that Abu Humaid is in a hopeless situation and doesn’t receive treatment. “We might hear the news of his death at any moment,” Fares said.
Earlier Thursday, the Palestinian Prisoners Club revealed in a report that Abu Humaid “is dying” amid a rapid deterioration in his health.
Naser Abu Humaid, 49, is one out of five siblings held in Israeli prisons. He has been suffering greatly in Israeli prisons as Israeli occupation authorities deliberately practice medical negligence against him despite his serious health condition.
