Dozens of Israeli settlers, protected by Israeli occupation forces, invaded on Sunday morning, September 11, the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, performing provocative rituals.
The Department of Islamic Endowment in Jerusalem reported on Sunday that successive groups of Israeli settlers broke into Al-Aqsa Mosque and organized provocative tours in its courtyards.
It added that Israeli settlers perform Talmudic rituals at Bab Al-Rahma, east of Al-Aqsa Mosque, under heavy guard of Israeli occupation forces.
On September 10, right-wing Jewish settlers called for mass raids of al-Aqsa Mosque to mark the so-called Hebrew New Year on 26 and 27 September.
For his part, Ekrema Sabri, imam and preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, called Palestinians to intensify their presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque to foil the Israeli plans.
On a daily basis, Israeli settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, break into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, performing provocative Talmudic rituals.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation authorities impose suffocating restrictions on Palestinians’ entry to Al-Aqsa, routinely banning Muslim worshipers from entering their holy site.
