Palestinian citizens held two vigils Saturday evening, October 15, 2022 in the occupied cities of Haifa and Taibein protest of the recent Israeli escalation of violence against the Palestinian people, especially in Jenin, Nablus and Jerusalem.
The Palestinian protesters waved Palestinian flags and shouted slogans decrying the Israeli occupation ongoing crimes in Palestine, the latest of which was the murder of two Palestinians in a raid on Jenin on Friday morning, October 14, 2022.
This comes as a response to the recent comprehensive lockdown of Shufat and Anata refugee camp in occupied Jerusalem, preventing Palestinians from moving freely.
Protesters waved banners that could be read in Arabic and Hebrew, so their message is well-delivered to local community and to Israeli occupation settlers themselves.
