Palestinian Prisoner Enters His 20th Year in The Occupation Prisons

Today 29th of June, The Palestinian prisoner Qusai Adel Ibrahim Hamdiya, from the town of Yamoun, west of Jenin, entered today, Wednesday, his 20th consecutive year in the occupation prisons.

The director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club in Jenin, Montaser Sammour, stated that the occupation arrested Hamdiya on June 29, 2003, after besieging the eastern region of his town, al-Yamoun, and raiding his family’s home. Jenin in 2002, and the implementation of many military operations.

He added that the Israeli Occupation Court issued a sentence against the captive, Hamdiya, to an actual 28-year prison term.

Noting that the mother of the detained, Hamdiya, died last year, and the Israeli occupation officials denied him to give her his final Farwell

According to the latest report of the Palestinian Prisoners Institutions, the number of Palestinian prisoners and detainees in the Israeli occupation prisons reached about (4,700) prisoners, by the end of May 2022, including (32) female prisoners, about (170) minors, and (640) administrative detainees. Among them are two female captives, and a child.
