Israeli navy on Wednesday morning, 29 June, targeted and destroyed a Palestinian-owned fishing boat off Rafah shore, southern Gaza Strip.
According to Gaza fishermen’s union, the Israeli navy directly targeted the boat, completely destroying it. No injuries have been reported so far.
The Union added that the Israeli navy heavily opened fire at several Palestinian fishing boat off Gaza shore on Wednesday morning.
4000 Palestinian fishermen risk their lives every day to make a living. According to the Palestinian Fishermen’s Association in Gaza, there are some 4,000 fishermen working in Gaza’s fishing sector, who are providing for about 50,000 dependents.
