DaysofPal – A Palestinian man was killed in an Israeli airstrike overnight near the Abu Sharkh roundabout west of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, according to local sources, as reported ceasefire violations continued across the enclave.
Local sources identified the victim as Hudhaifa Hussein al-Hawajri.
The southern region of the Gaza Strip also witnessed significant military activity. In Rafah,Israeli occupation forces also carried out demolition operations north of the city of Rafah in southern Gaza, while artillery shelling targeted the city’s northwestern areas.
Further east, the town of Al-Qarara, located east of Khan Younis, came under Israeli artillery fire. Local sources noted that the shelling was accompanied by the launching of illumination flares and active gunfire directed toward the area.
On Saturday, local sources reported that Mohammed Najeeb Ashour was killed and several others were wounded after an Israeli drone targeted a group of Palestinians near the Asqoula junction in the Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
Israeli occupation forces have continued to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip through air and artillery strikes targeting areas where displaced civilians are sheltering, as well as demolition operations within the area known as the “Yellow Line.” Restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel have also remained in place.
According to figures released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the death toll since the ceasefire took effect on October 10 has risen to 1,070, with 3,445 people injured. The ministry also reported that 797 bodies have been recovered during the same period.
The ministry added that the overall toll since the start of the Israeli genocidal campaign on October 7, 2023, has reached 73,094 people killed and 173,553 others injured.
